Manthan-08, Annual Tech Symposium of BVB IEEE Student Chapter was indeed a grand Success. ( http://manthan.ieeebvb.org )
For the first time Manthan expanded its horizons by including two wings namely “Baraha - Paper presentation contest” & “Akriti - Hardware & Software Project contest”.

The aim of MANTHAN’ 08 is to stir and unsettle the minds of young engineers so as to bring out the best in them, and The churn of “intellect” & “ideas” did happen as Manthan witnessed overwhelming response of 100+ entries, and most of them reflected quality technical content.
It was a tough time for the reviewing committee to shortlist the Paper presentation entries. So the papers were selected into two categories 1) Oral presentation 2) Poster Presentation.
The Shortlisted entries arrived for the final “Churn” on 12th may in BVBCET Hubli. Manthan 08 was inaugurated by the chief guest Mr Shrikar Talla & Guest of honour Mr Abhishek Agrahari from C.G Corel. Prof B.L.Desai, Vice Principal BVBCET, presided over the inaugural & Dr R.M.Banakar, Branch Counselor, BVBIEEE Student Branch addressed the participants.
The Event was generously supported by the main Sponsor “Robert Bosch India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore” , and “Sankalp Semiconductors”, Hubli was the co-sponsor for the event.
The winners had to battle against very hard competitors, as Manthan was a hub of very innovative student innovators!
